Membership application

Membership in the TRON Association is open to all corporate bodies and organizations that share the objectives of the Association.

Member privileges

TRON Association members enjoy the following benefits:

• Obtaining the latest real-time OS platform technology by standardizing on T-Engine.
• Free participation in seminars on Project trends (planned once or twice per year; non-members may attend for a fee).
• Taking part in the drafting of specifications, which includes an early look at the alpha versions of specifications.
• Participating in development projects aimed at promoting use of the TRON specifications.
• Use of TRON validation and product registration services, and attendance at Association-sponsored events, free or at member discount rates.
• Validation testing for conformance to TRON specifications, and registration of products implementing TRON specifications.
• Attendance at seminars, symposiums, and lectures.
• Member discounts for exhibiting at the TRON Show, etc.
• Through participation in the TRON Advanced Technology Research Group and other groups, acquisition of cutting-edge technology, and exchange of information extending all the way to marketing.

Membership categories and fees

Note that members who take part in the activities of Groups (G) are expected to pay annual fees on top of the basic membership fee. For Fiscal 2002 this charge is 100,000 yen per Group.
